Hey all you Dino Fans!

Sorry for the slight delay this past month. In a World of Dinosaurs was wrapping up completion and we were conducting our final rounds of Quality Control and Inspection on the product to make sure all the mass manufacturing went smoothly. I just spoke with the factory owner a little bit ago and he is expecting to have everything finalized and ready for shipping sometime this week! I just wrote an email to arrange the freight and will have a more clear time table in the next couple weeks once it is on the boat. From my current estimates, I am a little ahead of my original predicted schedule. I expect to have the shipment arrive end of April but I will get everyone ocean freight tracking shortly.

To answer some of the past questions, yes the Fancy Pants edition WILL still be shipping so there is nothing to worry about there. SC has done a fantastic job arranging all those components and having that edition ready to ship well in advance of this run of units. I hope everyone is as excited as we all are here at Golden Bell and Subtle Chuckle.

Hey y'all!

As we've been waiting for this sample to arrive, we've also been working on a bonus inclusion for all of you. We decided to go ahead and make the Fantasy card expansion, and it will be included with all of the Kickstarter copies! This means not only can you plunge the planet into a snow covered wonderland, you can also sprinkle mother earth with a thin layer of glitter and ride into town on an array of fantasy creatures.

As with the ice age expansion, the fantasy beasts still fit the head/body/tail proportions of the dinosaurs. So yes, before you ask, that belle of the ball Uni-dactyl will be absolutely possible and eclipsing new levels of magic never before seen in a museum.

Without further ado, here are the four fantasy beasts and the event card that can be used to add them to the game.

Also, while we were working away on these, the sample was completed by the factory! We don't have it in hand yet, but it is in the mail and should be here next week. Once we do, we'll have much better photos to share (the ones below are from the factory), as well as be able to nail down a final production date. Later this year or early 2018 is what we're looking at. 

So far it looks great. Compared to our first sample, you can already see the higher quality wooden player pieces, and adjusted token colors.

Hey all!

We know it has been way too long between updates, and we’d like to briefly explain why it’s been so quiet around here. Part of our partnership with the publisher includes a clause that prevents us from sharing details about the process without permission. It protects them as the publisher, but this makes it very difficult to get updates out to you. We’ve been pressuring them to get us information to share, and the call has taken a lot longer than we expected. This is primarily because the publisher is a small team that is very busy (which is great for them and great for In a World of Dinosaurs), and our info request is just one task on their list. The second we have shareable details, is the second they will be sent your way.

It breaks our heart to not have more information for you over the last several weeks, but rest assured that the game is still on track. Even though we can’t share details, we are progressing forward. We see your comments every day, and understand your frustration. We aren’t trying to swindle you, we aren’t hiding away in a cave somewhere throwing gold coins around and laughing, we aren’t doing this to cause you personal anguish and heartache. We’re fighting to get the game in your hands first, and as soon as possible.

New Sample in the works!

Howdy dino diggers,

Not a ton to report other than subtle progress. We recently had a very long and fruitful call with the publishing team. Everything is moving along. Working on samples, safety testing.. the whole nine. 

As we get info, we'll pass it along. If we get new visual assets to show, we'll post them here too. If you have specific questions, let us know.
